What are the designated eligible insurance payments?

An Eligible Transaction means the designated insurance payment(s) made by the cardholder with a Standard Chartered Cathay Mastercard (“Eligible Card”) which fulfils the following conditions:

Credit card transaction made under Merchant Category Code (MCC) 6300 (Insurance Sales, Underwriting, and Premiums) and/or 5960 (Direct Marketing – Insurance Services) as defined by MasterCard Asia/ Pacific (Hong Kong) Limited and the Bank from time to time; and

Credit card transaction made at insurance companies in person directly, e.g., swiping the Eligible Card; or through autopay or branch of the Bank by using Eligible Card for paying the designated insurance payment(s).

1. The maximum miles rewards for each cardholder under this Promotion is 10,000 miles respectively, for each phase.
2. For the avoidance of doubt, the Promotion is NOT applicable to below transactions:
。 Any bill payment through the Bank's Online banking, SC Mobile App, Phone Banking and JET Payment Service, all these are ineligible.
。 Transactions with transaction details – description containing "BILL PAY" or "BILL PAY B", all these are ineligible.
3. If cardholders have already successfully registered for the promotion of phase 1, cardholders will automatically be registered for the phase 2 of the promotion without needing to enrol again.
